My daughter is 9 years old, over the past several months she has been getting spontaneous nose bleeds.?

She has never been a nose picker, the air is not dry where we live, sometimes its just one side, sometimes both. It usually takes twenty minutes or so to stop and the amount of blood is crazy. These occur anytime including when she is asleep. I'm concerned mostly by the amount and the frequency is just about every other day.
