Will going to school to get a degree in nursing be too much of a challenge for me?

I have 3 children (youngest is 5) and haven't been employed since I've always been the homemaker. I'm very close to registering for college to get a degree in nursing, but am having doubts. This fall I will have about 3 hours of free time in the morning for school (weekends also) & can study late at night if needed.... is this enough time to be doing this or do I need to do school/study for like 15 hours a day or something? I would just really like to know if this is something I should attempt (at this point I don't know of anything else that I would like to do) or should I consider other majors instead?
