In what James Bond movie is biometric scanning (fingerprint, hand, iris scanners, etc.) first used?

After receiving the ignment to write a term paper about any technology I wanted, I decided to take the path of biometrics. We need to write the paper not only discussing how the technology changed society, but also how society changed the technology. I thought a good way to tie the two together was to introduce it by using a scenario of a James Bond film....any ideas of what movie it appeared in would be appreciated. Thanks.
