For English speakers if you saw the word "Moj" how would you pronounce it first?

I wanted to start up something with the ending "moj" which is how to say "my" in some Slavic languages, would people from English countries instantly pronounce the "j" like it is in English or will people kinda get the idea it might be pronounced like "y", like the Germans do.
